The successor to the McLaren F1 has finally arrived, and it looks like it will live up to the legacy of that iconic car. When it comes to exclusive supercars, the SLR roadster is definitely on the list. In 2004, Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive teamed up to develop the SLR with a goal of producing 500 vehicles per year for a period of seven years. That means that when the production run is finished, there will only be 3500 SLRs in existence. If that seems exclusive, then the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition is even more so. The McLaren F1 LM edition is one of the quickest road cars ever produced. 0-to-60 mph? A mere 3.9 seconds. 0-to-100 mph? 6.7 seconds. 0-to-100-to-0 mph, the true test of a car’s acceleration and braking abilities? 11.5 seconds.
